Tourmaline can be found in a large range of colors, and occasionally a genuine Tourmaline gem can display two or more colors within the same gemstone.

Tourmaline Jewelry
Depending upon the cut of the gemstone, it may appear to be bi-colored or if the gem is sliced it can resemble a slice of watermelon with a pink or red center surrounded by green rings; these Tourmaline slices are known as Watermelon Tourmaline and we carry a large collection of Watermelon Tourmaline jewelry in our store.
Tourmaline gems tend to have lots of natural inclusions and its rare to find a larger sized gem with few or no inclusions present. These natural inclusions are tolerated in genuine Tourmaline.
There is no right or wrong when selecting your favorite Tourmaline shade however some colors are more rare, and more valuable, than others; Rubellite Tourmaline is a hot pink shade, Indicolite Tourmaline is a deep teal blue shade and Paraiba Tourmaline is a neon aqua tone.
